The main task of anesthesiologists is attenuated, individually selected anesthesia during the operation or in the process of medical examinations. The first contact with anesthesiologists occurs before the operation, during the preparatory pre-operative conversation. During this conversation, we discuss with you the chosen method of anesthesia and the presence of chronic diseases, in order to exclude possible risks in the operation. The conversation takes place in specially designated rooms. After surgery, we take care that this period will flow for you most comfortably. Pain therapy and rapid adaptation after surgery have the highest priority.
In the maternity unit, we take care that the woman in labor does not experience pain during labor or during caesarean section. Thanks to the modern method of anesthesia, when the drug is injected near the spinal cord, we can quickly help you.
For patients requiring special care after the operation, we provide assistance in the Department of Intensive Care.
The motto of the Center of Outpatient Surgery is “In the morning – operation, in noon – at home”. Here, our specialists take over the care of you during the operation and after.
In March 2008, our Clinic opened a palliative department. Here, patients with incurable diseases receive care and therapy they need to preserve good quality of life. Our goal and our motto is to “surround with life” with palliative patients.
