Dr. med. Severine Iborra is a highly experienced and accomplished gynecologist specializing in gynecological cancer, perinatal medicine, and surgical gynecology. With 15 years of experience, she has established himself as a leading expert.

Dr Iborra began her studies in human medicine at the University of Lyon and then moved to the Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg, where she received her licence to practise medicine at the end of 2007. Séverine Iborra received her doctorate in summer 2008 for an experimental doctoral thesis in the field of molecular oncology. From August 2008 to November 2013, Dr Iborra worked as an assistant physician at the University Women's Hospital in Freiburg. After her specialist examination in gynaecology and obstetrics, she continued her career at the clinic as a specialist. In November 2015, Dr Iborra moved to RWTZ Uniklinik Aachen as a senior physician.

In addition to her scientific work with numerous publications and presentations at important gynaecological specialist events, Iborra deepened her medical specialisations. Among other things, she acquired the certificate for oncological diagnostics and therapy of the Working Group for Gynaecological Oncology as well as further qualifications of the Working Group for Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (AGCPC), the Working Group for Urogynecological and Plastic Pelvic Floor Reconstruction (AGUP) and the Professional Association of Gynaecologists (BVF).

Since March 2023, she has headed the Department of Gynaecology and Oncology at Solingen Academic Hospital.
